The first one was on February 2016, I went to Bangkok and Pattaya.
This time I went to Hat Yai for only 2D1N with 2 of my friends!

We took Alisan Golden Coach Express to Hat Yai on Friday, 11.30pm.
The bus come with POWER PLUG, FREE WIFI and BLANKET!!!
It provides comfort seating to us.

The bus ticket from KL to Hat Yai cost RM60.00 for one way.
After finishing work, we rushed to KL sentral having our dinner and took KLIA Transit to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan at Bandar Tasik Selatan.
The ticket to BTS cost RM6.50 for one way.

In the morning, we arrived at Bukit Kayu Hitam Customs & Immigration Checkpoint. We got down from the bus, line up, got our passport checked by the officer & filled in the Thai Immigration Arrival-Departure Card.
Once finish, walk over to other side and look for our bus.
Luckily it was not too crowded. What a relief! O(≧▽≦)O
Then we reached Sadao Immigration & Checkpoint.
We got down from the bus, line up, got our passport chopped and submitted the Thai Immigration Arrival Card. From the border, we pass by Danok and it took an hour to reach Hat Yai town.

Red Planet Hotel Hat Yai
We reached at Alisan Golden Coach, we walked from there to our hotel, Red Planet Hotel Hat Yai. It only took around 5 minutes of walking.

I booked one Standard Twin d Room (2 single beds) from Booking.com. We paid during check in. We request early check in, luckily they prepared the room for us so that we can put down our luggage in the room to start our Hat Yai journey.
The room cost THB900.90 (MYR105.00) for 3 person, one night stay. The room is quite big, nice and clean room. Seems that the room can fit a lot of people!!!

Chok Dee Dim Sum
The distance between Red Planet Hotel Hat Yai & Chok Dee Dim Sum.
We decided to went to Chok Dee Dim Sum for our breakfast.
It took around 15minutes of walking from our hotel to the destination.
Chok Dee Dim Sum is one of the places we need to go when we at Hat Yai.
It famous among their citizens.
The dim sums have variety of choices, each dim sums cost THB20.
The taste of dim sums are ok ok only but really cheap.
They even serve Bak Kut Teh, it cost THB120.
Their style of serving dim sum different from our Malaysia.
Malaysia dim sum restaurant they will steamed the dim sum first, bring to our table and let us choose.
Chok Dee Dim Sum here, we choose the dim sum first then they will steamed it and bring to our table.

Chrysanthemum Tea (in a pot) = THB50

TOTAL = THB400 for 3 person
Phra Phutthamongkol Maharat, Standing Buddha
Then we went to Phra Phutthamongkol Maharat (Standing Buddha), another unique part of the city, which located at Municipal Park Hat Yai by Tuk Tuk, THB200 for 3 person.
When we reached the park, we took mini bus to Standing Buddha, THB20 per person (go and back).
This Standing Buddha is on top of the hill. It is popular recreation place for residents and tourists.
We get to see the breathtaking view of the city from here.
Beside the Buddha got cable car, it connect to the Four-Faced Buddha Shrine.

Big C Extra

Big C is famous for their cheap snacks and other items.
We took a Tuk Tuk from Hat Yai Municipal Park to Big C Extra, THB100 for 3 person. CHEAP!!!
(If want to find cheap Tuk Tuk, make sure do some negotiation with the driver.)

Klonghae Floating Market
After Big C, we took Tuk Tuk again went to Klonghae Floating Market, THB120.
It is a famous floating market located in Thanon Klonghae Hat Yai. The journey took about 15 minutes to reach.
Then we saw a bridge. From the bridge we saw the floating market on our left.
There are many kind of traditional Thai foods. The floating market open on the weekends, start from 3pm.
The distance between Big C Extra and Khlong Hae Floating Market.
Asean Night Bazaar
The distance between Khlong Hae Floating Market & Asean Night Bazaar.
We took another Tuk Tuk from Khlong Hae Floating Market to Asean Night Bazaar, THB300 for 3 person.
Our final destination for that day.
There are many things available for sale here such as clothes, watches, wallets shoes, bags,handphone accessories, foods and etc. Good for budget shopping.
After that we walked went back to our hotel.
Due to too much of taking Tuk Tuk, we decided to walk back to our hotel since it quite near to Asean Night Bazaar. (ᗒᗨᗕ)

Our journey is coming to the END! Our final destination is KIM YONG MARKET!
Hat Yai Morning Market!
We went there by walking and reached there around 7am.
They sell variety of vegetables, fruits, snacks, seafood, anchovies, shrimps, cashews, almonds, powders and more.
They also even have morning breakfast foods!
Time to departure to go back to Kuala Lumpur!
Our schedule back to Kuala Lumpur is at 9am.
